This is a tick list of all the things we needed to mention

  • move the mixing desk into a position where it is still able to reach a power supply
  • move the base bins into position so they are to the left and right of the mixer
  • add the pillars
  • place the main speakers on top and make them the same hight
  • set up the main speakers
  • make sure everything is secure
  • connect the speakon cables to the power supply
  • tape everything out of the way
  • connetct the mixing desk to the amps with jack leads
  • plug into the main power supply
  • make sure everything n the desk is flatlined , otherwise some bad noises will be created
  • connect the mic useing an XLR cable
  • first turn on the desk
  • then turn on the speakers
  • lastly test the levels o best sides of the venue.

it was also important to mention all the risk assessments that had to be pointed out

  • all electrical risks have to be assesed this would involve;
-making sure there are no beoken cables with sires hanging out, this would be the same as being exposed to live wires.
-make sure all plug sockets that are going to be used are of a safe standard.
-at no point should any water or other liquids be around the equiptment as this can cause major health risks if it was to appear on the live equiptment.
